12th Annual Low Country Boil
On June 5th, 2025, the Fountain Inn Museum hosted its 12th Annual Low Country Boil. It was an unforgettable night filled with great food, live and silent auctions, local music, and a whole lot of community spirit!
Friends and supporters from across the Upstate gathered under the stars to raise funds for the Museum’s exhibits, educational programs, and ongoing preservation efforts. Guests enjoyed a delicious low country feast catered by The Farehouse, fun auction items (including a few show-stoppers!), and plenty of laughter and good conversation throughout the evening. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and everyone who attended, this year’s Boil was a huge success. Helping us continue our mission to celebrate and preserve the history, heritage, and culture of Fountain Inn and the surrounding area.

The Fountain Inn Museum invites visitors to explore Fountain Inn Cooks, a special summer exhibit celebrating the people, stories, and memories that have been shared around Fountain Inn tables for generations.
Featuring photographs of local home cooks highlighted in the Museum's upcoming community cookbook, the exhibit honors the individuals whose recipes, hospitality, and family traditions helped shape the character of our community. Visitors will also experience a recreated 1910 kitchen, a vintage wash room, and a replica of the beloved Frances Virginia Tea Room. Together, these displays offer a glimpse into the daily lives, work, and social spaces that connected generations of Fountain Inn residents.
Complementing the exhibit is the return of the Museum's popular Heritage Afternoon Tea Series, where guests can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea service, sweet and savory treats, and a guided tour of Fountain Inn Cooks. Sponsored by the Historic Hopkins Farm.
